NOVELTY - Preparing a two-dimensional manganese dioxide modified polypropylene membrane involves performing ultrasonic mixing of powdered graphene oxide and water in a ratio of 1mg:5mL, adding 0.016g/mL potassium permanganate solution, magnetically stirring it for 20-30 minutes, reacting it in oven to obtain reaction solution, and centrifuging reaction solution to obtain a manganese dioxide dispersion. The manganese dioxide dispersion is diluted with a 60-80% ethanol aqueous solution, mixed it thoroughly to obtain a mixed dispersion with a manganese dioxide concentration of 0.03-0.06mg/mL, and a circulating water pump is used to filter mixed dispersion at low pressure. The manganese dioxide is stacked on polypropylene membrane, and dried under a vacuum environment at 40-70 degrees C for 10-20 hours to obtain final product. USE - Method for preparing a two-dimensional manganese dioxide modified polypropylene membrane used in a lithium-sulfur battery (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method enables to prepare a two-dimensional manganese dioxide modified polypropylene membrane, which exhibits a higher sulfur barrier effect than pure polypropylene membrane and functional membrane made of other material.
