NOVELTY - Waterproof fabric comprises a warm-keeping layer, a ventilating waterproof layer, a water-absorbing and heating layer, and a base cloth layer arranged from inner side to outer side in sequence. The warm-keeping layer, the ventilating waterproof layer, the water-absorbing and heating layer, and the base cloth layer are compounded by hot pressing. The water-absorbing and heating layer is obtained by applying a water-absorbing and self-heating substance and an antibacterial coating to a fabric substrate at the same time, and finishing the fabric substrate with a finishing solution. USE - The waterproof fabric is useful for down jackets (claimed) in waterproof and fabric-proof field. ADVANTAGE - The fabric: has specific water-locking effect; feeds back the heat to the warm-keeping layer through the ventilating waterproof layer; avoids affecting the thermal insulation performance of the warm-keeping layer during accidental water seepage; has high waterproof and anti-splashing performance; and reduces water-proof structure damage probability. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for preparing the waterproof fabric, comprising (i) uniformly mixing and stirring polyurethane resin, chitin, antibacterial powder and cross-linking agent, adding diluent to obtain antibacterial coating material, uniformly mixing tourmaline powder, aluminum powder, sodium carbonate and graphite powder to obtain a water-absorbing and self-heating substance, coating the antibacterial coating material and the water-absorbing and self-heating material on both sides of base body, and drying at 90degrees Celsius until completely dry to obtain a water-absorbing and heating layer, (ii) mixing ammonium salt solution, dodecanol, hydrogen chloride, chlorotoluene and dimethylamine to obtain finishing solution, cleaning water absorbing and heating layer by finishing solution, and drying the water absorbing and heating layer after cleaning, and (iii) hot-pressing the composite ventilating waterproof layer and warm-keeping layer on one side of the water absorbing and heating layer, and hot-pressing composite base cloth layer on other side of the water absorbing and heating layer to obtain the finished product.
