NOVELTY - Growing graphene on surface of metal powder involves spraying carbon source, metal powder, and protective gas into chemical vapor deposition furnace uniformly. The carbon source and metal powder enter a high temperature region of the chemical vapor deposition furnace, where the metal powder forms metal droplets in the high temperature region of the chemical vapor deposition furnace, and the carbon source is in the metal liquid at a high temperature. The surface of the droplet is catalytically cracked to grow graphene. The metal droplet with graphene growing on the surface continues to fall under the push of the protective gas and the effect of its own gravity, enters the low-temperature region of the chemical vapor deposition furnace, and solidifies into graphene-coated metal powder. USE - Method for growing graphene on surface of metal powder for obtaining graphene (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method enables to grow graphene on surface of metal powder that has good powder dispersion, high graphene quality, and that can be continuously produced on a large scale. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for a graphene, which is obtained by the method for growing graphene on surface of metal powder.
