NOVELTY - Preparation of graphene involves dissolving catechol or catechol derivative in solvent, obtaining 0.05 g/ml solution of catechol or catechol derivative, adding graphene oxide, ultrasonically dispersing for 0.5-4 hours, obtaining dispersion, transferring the obtained dispersion into an autoclave, placing the obtained autoclave into a reactor, reacting at 80-200 degrees C for 12-48 hours under hot water bath, filtering the resultant reaction mixture, washing with water, and drying under vacuum. USE - Preparation of graphene used for preparation of graphene/oxide composite for lithium-ion battery, supercapacitor and electrochemical sensor (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method provides graphene having excellent disperability, by a simple and environmentally-friendly process. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for use of graphene to prepare a graphene/oxide composite.
