NOVELTY - A conductive additive comprises conductive agent particles and oxide coating layer coated on surface of conductive agent particles. USE - Conductive additive used in positive electrode for lithium-ion battery (all claimed). ADVANTAGE - The conductive additive reduces the reaction activity between the conductive agent and the electrolyte before coating after being coated with oxide, stabilizes interface of the conductive agent, thereby improving the capacity retention rate and charge-discharge coulombic efficiency of positive electrode in circulation process. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are included for the following: (1) preparation of the conductive additive; (2) positive electrode, which comprises current collector, active material, binder and the conductive additive; and (3) lithium-ion battery, which comprises the positive electrode, negative electrode, separator and electrolyte.
