NOVELTY - Preparation of iron(III) oxide/reduced graphene oxide composite material involves uniformly mixing solution (A) and solution (B), stirring uniformly, obtaining mixed solution, adding the obtained mixed solution into a reactor, reacting at 140-180 degrees C for 8-12 hours, washing the resultant reaction product using anhydrous ethanol and water and drying under vacuum. The solution (A) is prepared by dissolving iron sulfate heptahydrate in mixture of water and glycerol. The solution (B) is prepared by dispersing graphene oxide in water and ultrasonically dispersing the resultant solution. USE - Preparation of iron(III) oxide/reduced graphene oxide composite material used as cathode material for lithium battery (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method provides iron(III) oxide/reduced graphene oxide composite material with high quality and stability, by economical and simple process. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - Preparation of iron(III) oxide/reduced graphene oxide composite material involves uniformly mixing solution (A) and solution (B), stirring uniformly, obtaining mixed solution, adding the obtained mixed solution into a reactor, reacting at 140-180 degrees C for 8-12 hours, washing the resultant reaction product using anhydrous ethanol and water several times and drying in an oven at 60-100 degrees C under vacuum. The solution (A) is prepared by dissolving iron sulfate heptahydrate in mixture of water and glycerol. The solution (B) is prepared by dispersing graphene oxide in water and ultrasonically dispersing the resultant solution.
