NOVELTY - The production of biomass graphene flame-retardant polyester fiber involves adding biomass graphene powder, dispersant and surfactant, dispersing to obtain biomass graphene dispersion liquid, putting purified terephthalic acid, ethylene glycol, obtained dispersion liquid, and flame retardant into slurry kettle, adding catalyst sodium aluminate or manganese acetate, crushing, carrying out esterification reaction and polycondensation reaction, pre-shrinking, contracting, extruding, cutting to obtain polyester chip, spinning, winding, forming, bundling, drafting, curling and cutting. USE - Production of biomass graphene flame-retardant polyester fiber (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method enables production of environmentally-friendly biomass graphene flame-retardant polyester fiber with high biocompatibility, unique metallic luster, color lasting effect, flame retardance, high antibacterial effect, high anti-static function, and high non-toxic effect by simple process, reduces the surface resistivity, reduces the friction coefficient, suppresses the generation of electrostatic charge, does not produce harmful chemicals and ingredients, and does not need chemical dyeing and finishing process. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - The production of biomass graphene flame-retardant polyester fiber, involves adding 40-60 wt.% biomass graphene powder, 10-30 wt.% dispersant and 10-30 wt.% surfactant, stirring and dispersing to obtain biomass graphene dispersion liquid, putting 40-70 wt.% purified terephthalic acid, 20-40 wt.% ethylene glycol, 5-10 wt.% biomass graphene dispersion liquid, and 5-10 wt.% flame retardant into slurry kettle, adding catalyst sodium aluminate or manganese acetate, mixing slurry, crushing, introducing slurry into reaction kettle for esterification reaction, introducing esterified mixture into polycondensation kettle to carry out polycondensation reaction, pre-shrinking, contracting to prepare slurry, extruding by screw extruder, cooling, cutting to obtain graphene flame retardant polyester chip, drying, spinning by LHV431 type spinning machine, drying, spinning, winding, forming, bundling, drafting, thermal shaping, curling, and cutting. The dispersant is Pluronic-123 (RTM: Triblock copolymer manufactured by the BASF Corporation), Pluronic F68 (RTM: Non-ionic surfactant used to control shear forces in suspension cultures), or Pluronic F127 (RTM: Nonionic surfactant polyol). An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for biomass graphene flame-retardant polyester fiber.
