NOVELTY - The collector (100) has a support (102) comprising two surfaces, and a graphene layer (104) located on one of the two surfaces of the support. The graphene layer comprises graphenes stacked with each other or joined with each other where the graphene layer and the support are stacked together. The support is made of electrically insulating material that includes relatively small density and relatively good resistance toward corrosion. The graphenes are combined with each other by van der Waals attractive force. USE - Current collector for use in a lithium ion battery (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The support is made of electrically insulating material where the material has a relatively small density and relatively good resistance to corrosion, so that the collector has relatively low weight and high resistance to corrosion.
