▎ 摘 要

NOVELTY - A separation membrane comprises a porous substrate layer and an active layer arranged over at least a portion of the substrate layer. The active layer is at least partially crosslinked and comprises a superhydrophilic agent. USE - Membrane for pressure-assisted separation of oil and water used in drainage device and fuel tank of automotive product (all claimed) e.g. private aircraft, passenger aircraft, freight aircraft, military aircraft, helicopters, military helicopters, rockets, spacecraft, trailers, cars, trucks, buses, coaches, vans, ambulances, fire engines, motor homes, caravans, go-karts, buggies, fork-lift trucks, sit-on lawnmowers, tractors, harvesters, diggers, bulldozers, cranes, golf carts, motorcycles, bicycles, trains, railroad cars, ships, submarines, boats, jet-skis, hovercraft, hulls, marine superstructures, vehicular frames, chassis and engine portions. ADVANTAGE - The membrane is light weight, easy to operate, ensures high separation efficiency and structural integrity, can be operated with low energy input. The active layer has more robust mechanical integrity, uniform structure and improved continuity due to presence of hydrophilicity and/or functionality on the polymeric substrate. The intermediate layer improves life of the active layer by reducing dissolution or wearing out of the layer. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are included for the following: (1) production of the membrane; (2) separating oil and water; and (3) use of coating composition comprising superhydrophilic agent or its precursor in the manufacture of separation membrane.
