NOVELTY - Preparing a ZIF-67-based cobalt-molybdenum oxide hollow nanocage/graphene composite material comprises combining IF-67 metal organic framework with graphene oxide, converting ZIF67 on the graphene oxide into hollow cobaltous hydroxide-cobalt molybdate nanocage structure by water bath, calcining in argon and hydrogen atmosphere to obtain cobalt molybdenum oxide hollow nanocage/graphene composite material. USE - The ZIF-67-based cobalt-molybdenum oxide hollow nanocage/graphene composite material is useful in preparing cathode material for a lithium ion battery (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The composite material has high capacity, excellent rate performance and cycle stability. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for ZIF-67-based cobalt-molybdenum oxide hollow nanocage/graphene composite material.
