USE - Preparation method of polyaniline-graphene hollow microspheres used in catalysis, microreactor, sensing, and energy storage materials. ADVANTAGE - The method enables preparation of polyaniline-graphene hollow microspheres using simple and efficient process, and the obtained three-dimensional hollow structure of graphene-polyaniline microspheres has larger specific surface area, and shorter ion and electron transport paths. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - The preparation of polyaniline-graphene hollow microspheres involves (1) using hydrazine hydrate as reducing agent, restoring graphene oxide to graphene, dispersing graphene in water, adding certain amount of p-aminobenzenesulfonic acid to the above dispersion, adding isoamyl nitrite, mixing overnight at 80 degrees C, filtering, washing, drying to obtain sulfonated graphene, (2) ultrasonically dispersing sulfonated graphene in water to obtain aqueous phase, adding oil phase toluene containing aniline monomer, and mixing to obtain oil-in-water type emulsion, (3) leaving still for 12-24 hours, placing in ice water bath at 0 degrees C, stirring for 30-60 minutes, dissolving ammonium persulfate in hydrochloric acid solution, placing in 0 degrees C ice bath for 30-60 minutes, dripping ammonium persulfate solution to the emulsion, reacting in 0 degrees C ice bath for 8-12 hours, stirring, reacting, washing with ethanol and water 3-5 times, and freeze-drying.
