▎ 摘 要
NOVELTY - The kind of structure based on graphene optical bistable phase shift effect includes two kinds of different refractive index dielectric sheets A and B stacked layer by layer to form two truncated photonic crystals (AB)NA and A(BA)N, where the letter N is a positive integer greater than 0, and the letter N is called the period number of the photonic crystal. Two truncated photonic crystals are compounded with single-layer graphene C to form a symmetrical structure with a bistable phase shift effect ( AB) NACA (BA) N. The composite structure is placed on a horizontal plane, and the light wave is vertically incident from the left or right of the structure. The excitation direction of the light wave is a transverse electric wave or a transverse magnetic wave. USE - Kind of structure based on graphene optical bistable phase shift effect for use in a phase shifter of an optical fiber communication system for modulating a signal such as amplitude modulation, and frequency modulation. ADVANTAGE - The structure ensures that the periodic photon crystal is compounded with the graphene, using the optical bi-stable effect of graphene, which can realize phase shift control of the transmission coefficient phase by using incident light intensity, so as to realize the phase shift of the output light wave. The threshold value of bistable state and transmission coefficient of phase shift amount can be adjusted by the chemical potential of graphene and incident wavelength and period number of period photonic crystal.
