NOVELTY - A graphene-based mineral coating comprises 40-80 pts. wt. resin, 20-35 pts. wt. mineral filler, 15-25 pts. wt. dispersing medium, 10-20 pts. wt. graphene oxide, 5-10 pts. wt. cellulose ether, 3-10 pts. wt. quaternary ammonium salt chitosan derivative, 1-2 pts. wt. defoamer, 5-8 pts. wt. dispersant, and 0.5-2 pts. wt. leveling agent. USE - Graphene-based mineral coating. ADVANTAGE - The graphene-based mineral coating has excellent dispersibility and chemical stability, large specific surface area, excellent adsorption effect, reduce the odor after construction, has excellent antibacterial effect, is environmentally-friendly due to the addition of quaternary ammonium salt chitosan derivatives. The graphene-based mineral coating having three-dimensional network structure, forms a dense insulation layer, therefore difficult for a small molecule corrosive medium to pass through the dense insulating layer. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for preparation of graphene-based mineral coating, which involves (1) adding graphene oxide to dispersion medium, ultrasonically dispersing, obtaining a graphene oxide dispersion, (2) adding mineral filler, cellulose ether, quaternary ammonium salt chitosan derivative to the above graphene dispersion, stirring and dispersing uniformly to obtain a mixture (A), (3) adding mixture (A) to resin and dispersing uniformly to obtain a mixture (B), (4) adding defoamer, dispersant and leveling agent to the mixture (B), mixing, placing in a reaction kettle, heating and stirring at 50-80 degrees C for 4-8 hours.
