NOVELTY - Preparing antibacterial ceramic glaze based on zirconium silicate comprises (i) taking a graphene oxide coated ceramic powder and a pyrogallol solution to mix, stirring for 1-2 minutes, adding ferric chloride hexahydrate solution, adding sodium hydroxide to adjust pH to 8, adding silver ammonia solution, adding glucose, filtering and collecting product, and washing and drying to obtain silver-plated ceramic powder, (ii) taking the silver-plated ceramic powder and deionized water, ultrasonically dispersing for 10-15 minutes, adding ethyl orthosilicate and ammonia water at 60-70℃, adding zirconium oxychloride and lithium fluoride, adding the ammonia water, and keeping temperature for 2-3 hours to obtain a ceramic reinforced powder, and (iii) taking a basic glaze and ceramic reinforced powder, mixing, adding the deionized water, sodium carboxymethyl cellulose and sodium tripolyphosphate, ball milling, and filtering and removing iron to obtain the ceramic glaze. USE - The method is useful for preparing antibacterial ceramic glaze based on zirconium silicate. ADVANTAGE - The method enables to prepare antibacterial ceramic glaze that has excellent antibacterial performance, antibacterial effect is durable, and has high practicability. The ceramic reinforced powder improves the mechanical property of the glaze, specific high strength and wear-resistant performance, and the antibacterial durability. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for application of preparing antibacterial ceramic glaze based on zirconium silicate.
