▎ 摘 要
NOVELTY - Preparing mesoporous multilayer graphene, comprises: dissolving a carbon source and a metal catalyst in water; adding nitric acid to it, to bring the pH to 1; heating the obtained solution to evaporation, so that a fluffy mass is formed; and subjecting the fluffy mass to annealing at a temperature of 700-1000 degrees C to obtain graphene, which is powdered and dried. USE - The process is useful for preparing mesoporous multilayer graphene. ADVANTAGE - The process: provides mesoporous multilayer graphene with surface area of 320 m2/g and narrow pore diameter of 0.37-7 (preferably 3.14) nm (claimed); is fast, cost-effective, environment friendly and suitable for large-scale production of graphene; and utilizes the low cost and non-toxic easily available precursor materials. The graphene layers can be controlled to a minimum of 8 layers. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for the mesoporous multilayer graphene having its surface area of 320 m2/g and narrow pore diameter distribution of 0.37-7 (preferably 3.14) nm, a layer having a thickness of 2-14 nm.
