NOVELTY - Preparing tetrahedral silver phosphate/graphene composite material comprises e.g. adding graphite oxide powder to mixed protic solvent/dipolar aprotic solvent and performing ultrasonic dispersion treatment to obtain graphene oxide, preparing silver nitrate solution and phosphoric acid solution; then adding silver nitrate solution to dispersion of graphene oxide and adding phosphoric acid solution and silver nitrate to mixed dispersion of graphene oxide/silver nitrate to obtain tetrahedral silver phosphate/graphene oxide dispersion, then washing with deionized water and ethanol and drying. USE - The tetrahedral silver phosphate/graphene composite material is useful for degrading methylene blue, methyl orange, rhodamine B or phenol (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The composite material has high efficiency of photocatalytic degradation for a variety of organic dyes, and has stable photocatalytic performance and excellent recyclability; and the method: has mild preparation conditions, simple preparation process, short production period, low cost, and is suitable for industrial production. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - Preparing tetrahedral silver phosphate/graphene composite material comprises adding graphite oxide powder to mixed protic solvent/dipolar aprotic solvent, then subjecting resultant solution to ultrasonic dispersion treatment for 1-2 hours to obtain graphene oxide having a dispersion concentration of 1.47-2.94 mg/ml, preparing 0.5-1 mol/l silver nitrate solution, preparing phosphoric acid solution using 0.2-0.4 mol/l dipolar aprotic solvent; then adding silver nitrate solution to dispersion of graphene oxide and stirring for 10-20 hours, adding phosphoric acid solution and silver nitrate to mixed dispersion of the graphene oxide/silver nitrate at a stoichiometric molar ratio of 1:3, continuously stirring for 30 minutes to obtain tetrahedral silver phosphate/graphene oxide dispersion, then washing with deionized water and ethanol and drying under vacuum at 50 degrees C for 12 hours to obtain final product.
