▎ 摘  要

NOVELTY - Carbon-silicon composite comprises: a core including a carbon material and silicon particles; and a shell formed on the surface of the core and including amorphous carbon, crystalline carbon, or both, where the silicon particles are uniformly distributed from the center to the surface of the core. USE - The carbon-silicon composite is used for electrode for lithium ion batteries (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method is possible to form a structure capable of increasing the silicon content in the composite with a simple process and suppressing the expansion of silicon particles by applying a shear force so that the silicon particles can be uniformly attached and distributed inside the carbon material and by forming pores inside the carbon material. The lithium ion battery electrode has a high silicon content, so that a high capacity of the battery can be realized, and the volume expansion of the electrode due to silicon swelling is suppressed. The carbon-silicon composite has the effect of effectively suppressing volume expansion due to silicon while increasing the silicon content in the composite by uniformly dispersing the silicon particles into the carbon material. The carbon-silicon composite has suppressed expansion of silicone, and secures mechanical strength. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are included for the following: (1) a method for producing a carbon-silicon composite, involving mixing the carbon material and silicon particles, forming a core by applying a shear force to the mixed carbon material and silicon particles, forming a shell by applying a coating solution containing amorphous carbon to the surface of the core, and crystallizing some or all of the amorphous carbon by applying heat to the formed shell; and (2) an electrode for lithium ion batteries, comprising the above-mentioned carbon-silicon composite.
