NOVELTY - Preparing foam microporous material involves: (S1) adding 2-6 pts. wt. surfactant and 1-3 pts. wt. foam stabilizer to 5-10 pts. wt. deionized water to prepare a homogeneous aqueous solution as an aqueous phase, mixing 20-30 pts. wt. chemical monomer, 4-8 pts. wt. initiator and 40-60 pts. wt. N-methylpyrrolidone to obtain a homogeneous oil solution as an oil phase, quickly mixing the aqueous phase and the oil phase, and then preparing water in oil (W/O) type pre-emulsion by homogenizing, emulsifying, stirring or ultrasonic method; (S2) quickly passing the pre-emulsion through a pore size of a microporous membrane under a pressure of 0.5-2 MPa to obtain a W/O-type emulsion with a uniform particle size; and (S3) curing, filtering, washing, and drying the prepared W/O emulsion. USE - The method is useful for preparing foam microporous material. ADVANTAGE - The method provides foam microporous material, which has controllable average particle size and regular cell structure.
