▎ 摘  要

NOVELTY - Expandable polystyrene is claimed. The graphene-content is 0.2-1 wt.% based on total weight of styrene monomers prior to polymerization. USE - Used as expandable polystyrene. ADVANTAGE - The polystyrene has thermal conductivity value up to 0.039-0.042 W/(mK), and drawing performance up to 90-260 KPa. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for preparing expandable polystyrene comprising (i) adding styrene, water, dispersant and graphene, mixing in a reaction kettle by stirring to obtain uniform suspension, (ii) uniformly mixing material with low-temperature initiator, heating to 50-70 degrees C, adding high-temperature initiator, then heating to 88-92 degrees C, adding dispersing agent, reacting at constant temperature for 5-8 hours, then adding foaming agent, and heating to 105-130 degrees C for 2-6 hours, and (iii) adding the material in the reaction kettle, filtering, and then drying to obtain final product.
