NOVELTY - Preparing engineering plastic with good comprehensive performance comprises (i) taking 34-38 pts. wt. polyphenyl ether resin, 28-32 pts. wt. modified furan resin, 6-12 pts. wt. mildew preventive, 16-22 pts. wt. silane oxidation graphene, 11-15 pts. wt. nanometre ceramic powder, 3-6 pts. wt. halogenfree flame retardan and 2-4 pts. wt. compatibilizer, (ii) adding the raw materials in the step (i) to a high-speed mixer for mixing at 750-850 revolutions/minute(rpm) for 35-45 minutes, and adding to a twin-screw extruder for extrusion at 155-165 degrees C. USE - The method is useful for preparing engineering plastic with good comprehensive performance. ADVANTAGE - The plastic: has excellent mechanical property, flame retardant property, stable chemical property, acid and alkali resistance.
