NOVELTY - An intermediate paint comprises component (A) and component (B), where the component (A) is prepared from 48-52 pts. wt. epoxy emulsion, 1.9-2.1 pts. wt. dispersant, 0.08-0.12 pt. wt. defoamer, 2.8-3.2 pts. wt. titanium dioxide, 1-10 pts. wt. high heat-conducting substance, 0.28-0.32 pt. wt. fumed silica, 15-30 pts. wt. oxidized mica iron ash, 0.08-0.12 pt. wt. wetting agent, 0.18-0.22 pt. wt. anti-flash rust agent, 0.18-0.22 pt. wt. thickener No. 1, 0.18- 0.22 pt. wt. thickener No. 2 and 14-15 pts. wt. deionized water. The component (B) is an epoxy curing agent. The component (A) and the component (B) are mixed to obtain the intermediate paint. USE - The intermediate paint is useful for transformer (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The intermediate paint is environmentally friendly, and has high heat conduction and excellent corrosion resistance. The heat dissipation performance of the transformer is obviously improved, and the adaptability of power transmission and transformation equipment to the environment is enhanced. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for a preparation method of the intermediate paint comprising (S1) weighing epoxy emulsion, a dispersant, a defoamer, titanium dioxide, a high heat-conducting substance, fumed silica, oxidized mica iron ash, a wetting agent, an anti-flash rust agent, thickener No. 1, thickener No. 2 and deionized water, (S2) adding water, the dispersant and the defoamer to epoxy emulsion, stirring at 400-600 rpm for 5-10 minutes, adding titanium dioxide, the high heat-conducting substance, fumed silica and oxidized mica iron ash, continuously stirring at 400-600 rpm for 20-30 minutes, adding epoxy emulsion and the wetting agent, stirring at 400-600 rpm for 10-15 minutes until the emulsion disappears, and adding the anti-flash rust agent, thickener No. 1 and thickener No. 2, where the addition amount of thickener No. 1 and thickener No. 2 is < 1% of the total amount of the mixture after the anti-flash rust agent is added, stirring at 600-800 rpm for 30-40 minutes, adding the high heat-conducting substance and water, and stirring at 600-800 rpm for 15 minutes to obtain component (A) of the intermediate paint, and (S3) taking epoxy curing agent as component (B), and (S4) mixing the component (A) and the component (B) when the intermediate paint is used.
