NOVELTY - Preparing graphene supported non-noble metal catalyst comprises dissolving the nitrogen-containing ligand and metal salt in water, and reflux stirring; ultrasonically dispersing graphene oxide in water, pre-heating to obtain graphene oxide aqueous solution, then mixing the graphene oxide aqueous solution with the above solution, reflux stirring, and cooling to room temperature; adding reducing agent, reacting filtering and drying; calcining; adding acidic aqueous solution, refluxing, filtering, washing, and drying. USE - The catalyst is useful for proton exchange membrane fuel cell (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The catalyst has oxygen reduction reaction potential of 35mV and durability, and is resistant to methanol poisoning. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - Preparing graphene supported non-noble metal catalyst comprises dissolving the nitrogen-containing ligand and metal salt in 50-100 degrees C water, and reflux stirring for 0.5-24 hours; ultrasonically dispersing graphene oxide in water, pre-heating at 50-100 degrees C for 0.5-24 hours, to obtain graphene oxide aqueous solution, then mixing the graphene oxide aqueous solution with the above solution, reflux stirring for 0.5-24 hours, and cooling to room temperature; adding reducing agent into solid or aqueous solution, reacting for 0.5-24 hours, filtering and drying; calcining in the presence of carrier gas at 400-1200 degrees C for 0.5-5 hours, then cooling to room temperature; adding 5-5000 ml acidic aqueous solution, refluxing in 50-100 degrees C water bath for 0.5-24 hours, filtering, washing with water until neutral, and drying.
