NOVELTY - Preparing hydrophobic moisture barrier coating comprises reacting dopamine hydrochloride with methacrylic acid substance to obtain 3-methyl-dopamine, mixing 3-methyl-dopamine, polymerization monomer and azodiisobutyronitrile and subjecting for free radical polymerization reaction to obtain the dopamine copolymer, where the polymerization monomer is acrylic ester, acrylamide or organosilicone side chain group organic, mixing dopamine copolymer, organic solvent and filler to obtain coating, performing oxygen plasma surface hydroxylation on the base material, obtaining pre-processed base material, coating the coating on surface of pre-processing base material to obtain the hydrophobic and moisture barrier coating. USE - The hydrophobic moisture barrier coating is useful in obstructing and dehumidifying field (claimed), and useful in building external wall heat preservation, roof waterproof and heat preservation integration, building board, refrigerator car and refrigerator heat insulation and damp-proof material, precise instrument external protective layer and other surface interface field. ADVANTAGE - The hydrophobic moisture barrier coating: can avoid the material caused by moisture absorption caused by oxidation of the coated material and ensure swelling deformation affecting the precision component size precision.
