NOVELTY - Preparing high-toughness graphene/polyethylene terephthalate composite film, comprises adding 62-65 pts. wt. polyethylene terephthalate, 7-11 pts. wt. toughening agent, 3-5 pts. wt. graphene, 14-17 pts. wt. nano-hydrotalcite, 1-5 pts. wt. dispersant, 2-7 pts. wt. dicationic ionic liquid type surfactant and 0.1-1 pts. wt. aminosilane coupling agent to a reactor, stirring at a speed of 200-500 revolutions/minute for 10-20 minutes, then discharging and transferring to a screw extruder, blending, extruding and melting to obtain final product, where the toughening agent is hydroxy-terminated epoxy polyether having epoxy value of 0.1-0.2, the nano-hydrotalcite is nano-magnesium aluminum hydrotalcite (Mg-Al-LDHs) and/or nano-zinc aluminum hydrotalcite (Zn-Al-LDHs), and the dispersant is nano-sulfate/zirconium dioxide powder. USE - The film is useful in preparing packaging materials and airship capsule materials having high barrier properties (claimed) for food packaging and drug packaging field. ADVANTAGE - The film has improved tensile strength and elongation at break and improved barrier properties.
