NOVELTY - Biological production of a reduced graphene oxide/gold nanoparticles composite material using bacterial material, by the reduction of graphene oxide and gold nanoparticles precursor, comprises mixing an aqueous suspension of graphene oxide and an aqueous solution of gold nanoparticles precursor with the lysate of Shewanella sp. O23S strain, and leaving obtained reaction mixture to form a sediment of the reduced graphene oxide/gold nanoparticles composite material. USE - The method is useful for producing reduced graphene oxide and gold nanoparticles composite material. ADVANTAGE - The method is environmentally friendly and utilizes microorganisms for processing. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for use of lysate of Shewanella sp. strain O23S for the production of reduced graphene oxide/gold nanoparticles composite material
