NOVELTY - Preparing uranium dioxide composite fuel core block by using graphene oxide doping comprises (i) adding graphene oxide into the uranyl nitrate solution, mixing uniformly, adding ammonia water, obtaining ammonium diuranate containing graphene oxide precipitate, (ii) filtering the precipitate obtained in step (i), drying the filter cake, crushing, sieving to obtain ammonium diuranate-graphene oxide composite, (iii) calcining the ammonium diuranate-graphene oxide composite obtained in the step (ii), and further heating under the hydrogen reducing atmosphere to obtain uranium dioxide powder, (iv) placing the uranium dioxide powder obtained in the step (iii) into a mold for cold pressing and molding, demolding to obtain the green body, and (v) sintering the green body under the reducing atmosphere to obtain the uranium dioxide composite fuel core block. USE - Method for preparing uranium dioxide composite fuel core block by using graphene oxide doping. ADVANTAGE - The method enables preparation of uranium dioxide composite fuel core block with high thermal conductivity, and improved safety of nuclear reactor operation.
