NOVELTY - Preparation of graphene oxide comprises plasma sputtering graphite to obtain modified graphite; adding potassium permanganate to concentrated sulfuric acid and mixing uniformly to obtain mixture A; adding modified graphite to mixture A to obtain mixture B; reacting mixture B at 25-60degrees Celsius for 2-6 hours to obtain mixture C; adding mixture C into ice water, adding hydrogen peroxide and mixing uniformly; and washing precipitate with water until neutral. USE - The method is for preparing graphene oxide for catalysis, energy storage, heat conduction, and metal corrosion protection. ADVANTAGE - The method provides graphene oxide with high yield, low cost, small danger, fast and simple reaction process, which is very suitable for large-scale industrial production.
