NOVELTY - Environment-friendly waterproof corn alcohol soluble protein adhesive comprises 90-95 pts. wt. zein, 1-5 pts. wt. amino surface active agent, 1- 5 pts. wt. metal silver ion and 2-4 pts. wt. mercapto modified grapheme USE - Used as environment-friendly waterproof corn alcohol soluble protein adhesive. ADVANTAGE - The adhesive: has compact structure, excellent adhesiveness, stronger cohesion, viscosity and stretchability; solves the problem of excessive fluidity of amino-modified zein complex; and improves the bactericidal properties. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for preparing the environment-friendly waterproof corn alcohol soluble protein adhesive comprising (i) mixing zein with an alcoholic solution of lauryl amine, stirring uniformly at room temperature to obtain a mixed solution, pouring the mixed solution into a mold, placing in an oven at 60-90degrees Celsius for 3-5 hours to obtain an amino modified zein complex film, (ii) soaking the resultant amino-modified zein complex film into the silver nitrate solution, stirring to completely dissolve the amino- modified zein complex film to obtain chelate, (iii) adding the graphene oxide into the chloroform, performing ultrasonic dispersion, adding pentaerythritol tetraester and azodiisobutyronitrile under the condition of nitrogen atmosphere, carried out the reaction at temperature of 60-80degrees Celsius, stirring and refluxing for 1-2 hours, cooling, filtering and washing, then drying in the blast drying box of 70-90degrees Celsius to obtain mercapto modified graphene black powder, and (iv) adding the resultant mercapto-modified graphene into the chelate obtained in step (ii) and stirring for 20-40 minutes.
