▎ 摘 要
NOVELTY - Graphene-polyurethane nanocomposite comprises 2 wt.% or greater of graphene, where the graphene and polyurethane self-align into layers; or graphene-polyurethane nanocomposite comprises 0.01-2 wt.% graphene, where the graphene and polyurethane form dispersed nanocomposites. USE - The graphene-polyurethane nanocomposite is useful for applications such as conductive adhesive and composites for electrostatic and electromagnetic dissipation. ADVANTAGE - Highly-oriented, stable, and unagglomerated graphene polymer nanocomposites with advantageous performance properties are provided from an aqueous dispersion of graphene oxide in polyurethane latex followed by chemical reduction to form graphene sheets. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is a method of forming a self-aligned graphene-polyurethane nanocomposite or forming, a dispersed graphene-polyurethane nanocomposite comprising (i) mixing aqueous dispersions of graphene oxide and polyurethane; (ii) adding an effective amount of hydrazine to reduce the graphene oxide to graphene; and (iii) heating the dispersions, disposing the dispersions on a substrate, and drying the dispersions.
