NOVELTY - The method for preparing nitrogen-doped graphene/cobalt oxide composite material involves (a) ultrasonically dispersing graphite oxide into water to obtain graphene oxide dispersion liquid, (b) dissolving cobalt acetate in water under uniform stirring condition to obtain cobalt acetate solution and dissolving ammonium carbonate in water under uniform stirring to obtain ammonium carbonate solution, (c) adding the cobalt acetate solution and the ammonium carbonate solution to the graphene oxide dispersion liquid and stirring to obtain a mixed solution, (d) subjecting the mixed solution to reflux condensation reaction in a water bath under stirring conditions, (e) naturally cooling the product to room temperature, carrying out hydrothermal reaction, centrifuging the reaction product, washing with water, freeze-drying and crushing to obtain powder, and (f) calcining the powder under an inert atmosphere to obtain the nitrogen-doped graphene/cobalt oxide composite material. USE - Method is useful for preparing nitrogen-doped graphene/cobalt oxide composite material (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method enables economical and simple preparation of the nitrogen-doped graphene/cobalt oxide composite material with excellent catalytic capacity. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for the nitrogen-doped graphene/cobalt oxide composite material prepared by the above method.
