NOVELTY - An alcohol sensor includes acid-modified graphene oxide film used as electrolyte membrane. The thickness of acid-modified graphene oxide film is 3-10 mu m. The internal distribution of acid-modified graphene oxide film is provided with device pore structure. The average diameter of pores is 40-80 nm. USE - Alcohol sensor. ADVANTAGE - The sensor has good reliability and high sensitivity, and eliminates potential safety hazard of strong acid electrolyte. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for preparation of the alcohol sensor comprising preparing graphene oxide dispersion; passing ozone into graphene oxide dispersion liquid under ultrasonic conditions for 0.5-4 hours to obtain porous graphene oxide dispersion liquid; adding p-aminobenzenesulfonic acid and sodium hydroxide to porous graphene oxide dispersion, mixing and heating to 70-90 degrees C, maintaining reaction for 3-12 hours, washing to remove residue, and finally exchanging remaining metal ions into protons to obtain acid-modified graphene oxide; dispersing acid-modified graphene oxide in deionized water and vacuum filtering to obtain acid-modified graphene oxide film; and assembling acid-modified graphene oxide film and commercial fuel cell electrode into alcohol sensor.
