NOVELTY - Preparing graphene-nanosheets based concrete additive comprises: (a) mixing polycarboxylate ether-A (PCE-A) to a retarder-based salt solution to obtain a retarder based polycarboxylate ether-A (PCE-A) solution; (b) adding polycarboxylate ether-B (PCE-B) to the retarder based polycarboxylate ether-A solution to obtain a retarder based polycarboxylate ether (PCE) solution; (c) mixing graphene nanosheets to the retarder based PCE solution to obtain graphene nanosheets based PCE solution; and (d) adding at least one air entrainment agent to the graphene nanosheets based PCE solution obtained at step (c) to obtain the graphene nanosheets based concrete additive. USE - The method is useful for preparing graphene-nanosheets based concrete additive, which is used for concrete. The graphene-nanosheets-based concrete additive is useful in cementing material, and sand and stone as aggregate. ADVANTAGE - The method provides graphene-nanosheets based concrete additive with improved compressive strength and flexural strength.
