NOVELTY - Preparation of a lithium ion battery involves mixing an anode active material, a conductive agent, a binder, modified aluminum powder and a solvent, preparing an anode slurry, coating the slurry on the surface of an anode current collector with a carbon-containing conductive coating, drying, roller pressing, cutting to obtain an anode, mixing a cathode active material, conductive agent, binder and solvent, preparing cathode slurry, coating the cathode slurry on the surface of a cathode current collector with carbon-containing conductive coating, drying, rolling, cutting to obtain a cathode, and assembling the anode, cathode, separator and electrolyte into the lithium ion battery. The mass ratio of the anode active material, conductive agent, binder and modified aluminum powder is 96-99:0.6-2:0.6-2:0.3-1. The mass ratio of the cathode active material, conductive agent and binder is 92-96:0.6-2:0.6-2. USE - Preparation of lithium ion battery (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method provides battery having excellent charging and discharging efficiency, and cycle characteristics.
