NOVELTY - Solid-solid phase change material comprises polyethylene glycol, crosslinking agent, isocyanate and graphene oxide, where the mass of graphene oxide accounts for 0.25-5 wt.% of the total mass of polyethylene glycol, crosslinking agent and isocyanate, in polyethylene glycol, cross-linking agent and isocyanate, the (cyanate):(hydroxide)molar ratio is 1.1-1.3 and in cross-linking agent and polyethylene glycol, the(hydroxide): (hydroxide) molar ratio is 0.1-0.5. USE - The material is useful for active cooling of asphalt pavement. ADVANTAGE - The material improves the dispersibility and compatibility of graphene oxide in phase change materials, accurate perception of asphalt pavement temperature and ability to actively cool down; ensures the phase change heat storage density; has good thermal conductivity. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are also included for preparing: (1) solid-solid phase change material comprising (i) heating polyethylene glycol to molten state, (ii) adding cross-linking agent and the graphene oxide into the polyethylene glycol in a molten state, mixing them uniformly to obtain a physical blending system containing hydroxy groups to be reacted, (iii) adding isocyanate to the system and carrying out the reaction to obtain the finished system, and (iv) drying finished product system; and (2) use of change material for active cooling of asphalt pavement comprising crushing dried solid-solid phase-change material, grinding and sieving at a normal temperature of 200 mesh, and mixing asphalt mixture, where the mixing method includes modified asphalt binder method, equal volume replacement aggregate method or external mixing method.
