NOVELTY - Beta-silicon carbide ceramic material with lamellar structure, is claimed. The lamellar structure is a lamellar structure with a completely open surface, the diameter of the lamella is between 4-30 mum, and the thickness of the lamella is 200-500 nm, beta-silicon carbide nanowhiskers are present at the edge of the lamellar structure, and the aspect ratio of the beta-silicon carbide nanowhiskers is 10-30 and the interior of the lamella structure includes interdigitated, small and short silicon carbide nanowhiskers, and interconnected silicon carbide nanoparticles. USE - Used as beta-silicon carbide ceramic material with lamellar structure. ADVANTAGE - The beta-silicon carbide ceramic material has high phase purity, thermal conductivity and toughness, and improved mechanical property, and can be prepared in simple and cost effective manner with short reaction time, high efficiency, high productivity, and controllable powder shape, and provides electronic device package substrate, heat exchanger and other occasions with high thermal performance requirement, and electronic device with improved thermal performance. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for the preparation method of beta-silicon carbide ceramic material with lamellar structure.
