NOVELTY - Producing fluorinated composite, comprises reacting a metal oxide precursor with graphene oxide in presence hydrofluoric acid. USE - The fluorinated composite is useful for reducing oxygen permeability and moisture permeability in pure graphene, and in composition to produce barrier film of electronic device for flexible display (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method is economical. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are also included for: (1) fluorinated composite produced by the above method; (2) film comprising fluorinated composite; (3) barrier film comprising a material and the film; (4) electronic device comprising barrier film; (5) composition for producing the fluorinated composite comprises metal oxide precursor, graphene oxide and hydrofluoric acid; and (6) composition comprises fluorinated composite and fluorine-containing polymer.
