NOVELTY - Preparing composite material comprises (i) adding 1 pts. wt. graphene oxide and 1-5 pts. wt. reducing agent to 100-1000 pts. wt. deionized water, ultrasonically dispersing for 20-30 minutes, sealing, and heating at 90-120 degrees C for 12-24 hours to obtain graphene hydrogel, (ii) replacing graphene hydrogel with deionized water for 2-3 times, and replacing with acetone 3-5 times, and removing excess acetone to obtain graphene acetone gel, and (iii) dissolving epoxy resin in acetone solvent, uniformly stirring to add graphene acetone gel, uniformly stirring to add curing agent, distilling to remove acetone under reduced pressure, and solidifying to obtain composite material. USE - The composite material is useful in conductive materials, preferably thermally conductive materials (all claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method is economical, and saves device and time. The material has improved toughness, tensile strength, electrical conductivity and thermal conductivity properties.
