NOVELTY - Coating graphene oxide on stainless steel by electrophoretic deposition, comprises (a) forming a mixed solution of graphene oxide by dispersing graphene oxide powder in a dispersion solution, and (b) adding stainless steel to the mixed solution, and applying voltage to deposit graphene oxide. USE - The method is useful for coating graphene oxide on stainless steel by electrophoretic deposition (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method improves the corrosion and oxidation resistance of stainless steel, utilizes graphene oxide with negative charge dispersed mixed solution to increase the deposition efficiency, and prevents the lowering of conductivity of stainless steel. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are also included for: (1) coating reduced graphene oxide on stainless steel, comprising (i) forming a mixed solution of graphene oxide by dispersing graphene oxide powder in a dispersion solution, (ii) adding stainless steel to the mixed solution, and applying voltage to deposit graphene oxide, and (c) reducing the graphene oxide thin films formed on the stainless steel; and (2) the stainless steel coated with reduced graphene oxide by the above mentioned method.
