NOVELTY - Supported platinum catalyst comprises graphene oxide, platinum atoms and modifier connected between platinum atoms and graphene oxide, where the modifier is tetraethylenepentamine (TEPA) or pentaethylenehexamine (PEHA) in polyethylenepolyamine (PEPA). USE - Supported platinum catalyst for preparing bis-quaternary ammonium salt (claimed) that is utilized as fabric softener. ADVANTAGE - The supported platinum catalyst has high conversion rate and provides fabric softener with little yellowing and improved fabric whiteness, flexibility, hydrophilicity and antibacterial properties. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are included for: 1. a method for the preparation of supported platinum catalyst, which involves: a. dispersing graphene oxide in organic solvent; b. adding modifier so that modifier is connected on the surface of graphene oxide and drying to obtain powder; and c. mixing the powder with hexachloroplatinic acid hexahydrate in absolute ethanol, reacting, filtering with suction and drying to obtain the supported platinum catalyst; and 2.a method for preparing bis-quaternary ammonium salt, which involves: a1. adding tetramethyldisiloxane to allyl glycidyl ether, performing hydrosilylation reaction in the presence of the catalyst, where the molar ratio of allyl glycidyl ether and tetramethyldisiloxane is 1:2-2.5 to obtain a reaction product I; b1. subjecting octamethylcyclotetrasiloxane and the reaction product I to chain extension reaction in the presence of tetramethylammonium hydroxide to obtain epoxy-terminated silicone oil, where the mass ratio of D4 and EDH is: 37.9-60.2:1; c1. performing amination reaction with epoxy-terminated silicone oil and meglumine to obtain an aminated product, where the molar ratio of epoxy-terminated silicone oil and meglumine is 1:0.8-1.3; and d1. performing quaternization reaction with the amination product and a quaternization reagent to obtain a gemini-type quaternary ammonium salt, where the molar ratio of the amination product to the quaternization reagent is 1:0.8-1.25.
