NOVELTY - Preparation of uniformly dispersed cobalt disulfide/graphene composite involves adding distilled water to graphene oxide powder, ultrasonically dispersing, obtaining transparent solution, adding polyoxyethylene-polyoxypropylene-polyoxyethylene (F127) triblock copolymer surfactant to the product, stirring, adding cobalt salt, stirring, adding sodium thiosulfate, stirring, adding ascorbic acid or glucose as reducing agent, stirring, transferring the resultant solution to 100 ml polytetrafluoroethylene lined autoclave in hydrothermal reaction, calcining, cleaning and vacuum drying. USE - Preparation of uniformly dispersed cobalt disulfide/graphene composite (claimed) used for lithium ion battery, supercapacitor and dye-sensitized solar cell. ADVANTAGE - The method enables simple, economical and reproducible preparation of uniformly dispersed cobalt disulfide/graphene composite. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - Preparation of uniformly dispersed cobalt disulfide/graphene composite involves adding distilled water to graphene oxide powder, ultrasonically dispersing, obtaining transparent solution comprising 0.17-1.25 mg/mL graphene oxide, adding polyoxyethylene-polyoxypropylene-polyoxyethylene (F127) triblock copolymer surfactant to the resultant product, stirring, obtaining solution comprising 0.83-10 mg/mL polyoxyethylene-polyoxypropylene-polyoxyethylene (F127) triblock copolymer, adding cobalt salt to the resultant product, completely dissolving by stirring, obtaining solution comprising 16.7-125 mmol/L cobalt salt, adding sodium thiosulfate, completely dissolving by stirring, obtaining solution comprising 16.7-125 mmol/L sodium thiosulfate, adding ascorbic acid or glucose as reducing agent, completely dissolving by stirring, obtaining solution comprising 1.67-12.5 mg/mL reducing agent, transferring the resultant solution to 100 ml polytetrafluoroethylene lined autoclave in hydrothermal reaction, calcining at 120-220 degrees C for 6-48 hours, cleaning, and vacuum drying at 30-60 degrees C. The cobalt salt is chosen from cobalt nitrate and cobalt chloride.
