NOVELTY - An electrode material (100) of lithium ion battery, comprises electrode active powder (102); and a metal thin film (104a-104c) that partially or completely wraps the surface of the electrode active powder and comprises silver, gold, platinum, palladium, aluminum, magnesium, zinc, tin, or an alloy. USE - An electrode material for electrode used for lithium ion battery (all claimed). ADVANTAGE - Conductivity of the electrode material can be improved. The electrode has excellent conductivity. The lithium ion battery has improved discharge C-rate and has good low temperature discharge performance. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for electrode of a lithium ion battery comprising an electrode plate; and a first metal thin film (104a-104c) that is formed on a surface of the electrode plate and comprises silver, gold, platinum, palladium, aluminum, magnesium, zinc, tin, or an alloy.
