NOVELTY - Manufacture of bismuth oxychloride-(001)/graphene oxide nanocomposite photocatalyst involves mixing graphite, potassium permanganate and concentrated sulfuric acid, stirring, heat-stirring, adding 23 mL distilled water, heating at 98 degrees C for 15 minutes, adding 70 mL distilled water and 10 ml 30%-hydrogen peroxide, stirring, centrifuging, washing, drying to obtain graphene oxide, mixing 116 mg sodium chloride, 0-200 mg sodium oleate and 30 mL deionized water, stirring, adding 0-40 mg graphene oxide, stirring, adding bismuth nitrate, reacting, cooling, centrifuging and washing. USE - Manufacture of bismuth oxychloride-(001)/graphene oxide nanocomposite photocatalyst used for decomposing rhodamine (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method enables efficient manufacture of bismuth oxychloride-(001)/graphene oxide nanocomposite photocatalyst with excellent catalytic effect and stability. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - Manufacture of bismuth oxychloride-(001)/graphene oxide nanocomposite photocatalyst involves mixing 0.5 g graphite, 1.5 g potassium permanganate and concentrated sulfuric acid under ice cooling, magnetically stirring for 4 hours, heat-stirring at 35 degrees C for 30 minutes, adding 23 mL distilled water, heating at 98 degrees C for 15 minutes, transferring the mixture to an ice-water bath, adding 70 mL distilled water and 10 ml 30%-hydrogen peroxide, stirring for 30 minutes, centrifuging, washing until pH is 7, drying to obtain graphene oxide, mixing 116 mg sodium chloride, 0-200 mg sodium oleate and 30 mL deionized water, stirring, adding 0-40 mg graphene oxide, stirring for 2 hours, adding 0.1-0.5 mol/L bismuth nitrate, reacting at 95 degrees C for 3 hours, cooling to room temperature, centrifuging and washing.
