▎ 摘 要
NOVELTY - Superconducting cable system (10) comprises at least one inner cryostat, a supply of cryogenic fluid within a lumen of the inner cryostat (14), and at least one superconductor (12) extending longitudinally of the inner cryostat and in thermal communication with the cryogenic fluid, where inner cryostat comprises a liquid crystal polymer (LCP) and an outer cryostat (20) enclosing the at least one inner cryostat. USE - The system is useful for cryogen conduit (claimed), and providing long distance superconducting capabilities. ADVANTAGE - The system: utilizes LCP that gives high-strength and high-modulus fibers, precision molded small components and exhibits excellent barrier properties e.g. where LCP has ≤ 10e-6/C coefficient of thermal expansion, ≤ 1x10-12 cm3.cm/cm2/s/bar permeability, 0-40kV/mm dielectric strength, 1-20% failure strain at break, 4-90° k minimum service temperature, ≤ 0.5W/mk thermal conductivity, ≥ 25 MPa yield strength, and 1-100 GPa stiffness; has optimal structural properties, and a cheaper life cycle; and capable of operating over long distances without significant performance degradation. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INEDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for a cryogen conduit. DESCRIPTION OF DRAWING(S) - The drawing shows a perspective view of the superconducting cable system. 10Cable system 12Superconductor 14Inner cryostat 20Outer cryostat 22Vacuum annulus
