NOVELTY - Preparing fuel cell gas diffusion felt with uniformly distributed micro-pores comprises (1) mixing conductive carbon material with polyvinyl alcohol, glycerol, and calcium salt, heating and stirring until a homogeneous and viscous paste is forming, (2) the obtained past is fed into a screw extruder, hot-melt extruding and drawing to form a wire, (3) cutting wire into short fibers, and dispersing cut short fibers and carbon fibers and spreading dry powder, and hot-pressing by a molding roller, interwoven short fibers and carbon fibers to form a fiber mat, (4) immersing fiber mat in a sodium silicate solution, and use pulling roller to stretch the fiber mat to loosen the fiber mat and generate silicic acid, calcium fiber and in-situ network bonding carbon fiber to obtain a fiber mat of immersion reaction, and (5) passing immersed fiber mat into clean water to eluting polyvinyl alcohol, and introducing into a drying tunnel with a stepped temperature through a traction roller. USE - The method is useful for preparing fuel cell gas diffusion felt with uniformly distributed micro-pores. ADVANTAGE - The micro-pores: is economical and has low energy consumption, good electrical conductivity and air permeability, simple preparation process.
