NOVELTY - This invention provides a copper foil for graphene production and a graphene production method using the same, whereby it is possible to produce high-quality large-area graphene at low cost. Provided is a copper foil (10) for graphene production constituted by a plated Cu layer and/or a sputtered Cu layer and having a surface roughness (Rz) of 0.5 micron or less and at least 60% of the surface being constituted by the plane (111).
