NOVELTY - A perylenyl methoxypolyethylene glycol compound (I) is new. USE - New perylenyl methoxypolyethylene glycol compound (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The perylenyl methoxypolyethylene glycol compound is manufactured efficiently and economically using synthetic raw materials from a wide range of sources, by simple method. The noncovalent bond functionalization of graphene is realized by the pi - pi adsorption between perylene aromatic ring and graphene sheet. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - A perylenyl methoxypolyethylene glycol compound of formula (I) is new. X=NH or O;and n=16-284. INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are included for the following: (1) preparation of perylenyl methoxypolyethylene glycol compound (I); and (2) manufacture of perylenyl polyethylene glycol-based graphene dispersion, which involves adding the perylenyl polyethylene glycol compound (I) and graphene powder to a solvent (s2), stirring, and diluting the obtained slurry.
