NOVELTY - The solar cell device (10) has a back contact (20) that is provided with a back electrode layer and a graphene layer. An absorber (30) is provided over the back contact. A front contact (50) is provided over the absorber. The graphene layer is formed over the back electrode layer. The graphene layer is provided below the back electrode layer. The back electrode layer is made of a metal. The back electrode layer is provided with stacked distributed Bragg reflector (DBR) layers. The stacked DBR layers are provided with an even number of layers ranging from 2 to 10 layers. USE - Solar cell device. ADVANTAGE - The thin film solar cells are provided with improved current density and lower series resistance, thus the module efficiency is enhanced. The integrated back contact is provided for tuning the reflectance with higher reflectance materials, thus current density is improved and the induced high series resistance for the back contact is reduced.
