NOVELTY - Preparing phosphate load Silver graphene based hydrogel adsorbent involves adding graphite oxide to deionized water to obtain an aqueous solution of graphite oxide (2mg/ml). The solution is sealed and sonicated in controlled temperature environment (25 degrees C) for 2 hours. The glutathione is dissolved in solution and then solution is sealed and sonicated at 25 degrees C for 15 minutes to obtain graphene solution containing glutathione. The ratio of graphite oxide and glutathione is 2:1. The obtained glutathione graphene solution is placed in water bath at 80 degrees C for 12 hours to obtain aqueous hydrogels. USE - Method for preparing phosphate load Silver graphene based hydrogel adsorbent for treating waste water comprising methyl orange dye (claimed). DETAILED DESCRIPTION - Preparing phosphate load Silver graphene based hydrogel adsorbent involves adding graphite oxide to deionized water to obtain an aqueous solution of graphite oxide (2mg/ml). The obtained glutathione graphene solution is placed in water bath at 80 degrees C for 12 hours to obtain aqueous hydrogels solution comprising glutathione which is removed by using tweezers and kept in distilled water for one day. The water is changed for removing peptide. The obtained solution is mixed with 3ml of 0.6M silver nitrate aqueous solution for 12 hours to obtain an aqueous solution of hydrogel comprising silver ions. The silver ions are removed by distilled water for 30 minutes. Then 3ml of 0.2M aqueous solution of monosodium phosphate is added for performing reaction for 12 hours to obtain silver phosphate graphene-based hydrogel solution which is placed in distilled water for 30 minutes to obtain phosphate load Silver graphene based hydrogel adsorbent. An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for a method for treating waste water comprising methyl orange dye, which involves: (A) soaking load Silver graphene based hydrogel adsorbent for 30 minutes in deionized water comprising methyl orange dye; (B) removing and placing adsorbent in distilled water; and (C) regenerating the adsorbent by performing irradiation by 500W white light or ultraviolet light for 90 minutes.
