NOVELTY - Improving crystallization rate of polyethylene terephthalate comprises dispersing surface carboxylated graphene as nucleating agent in polyethylene terephthalate matrix, melting and blending to obtain polyethylene terephthalate/graphene composite, then increasing crystallization temperature of polyethylene terephthalate and accelerating crystallization rate. USE - The method is useful for improving crystallization rate of polyethylene terephthalate.
