NOVELTY - Production of graphene film involves (a) forming a catalyst film (20) on a conductive support (18), (b) forming the graphene film on the catalyst film, and (c) electrolytically removing the catalyst film from the support. USE - Production of graphene film (claimed). Uses include but are not limited to nanoelectronics, composite materials, lithium ion batteries, solar cells, transparent electrodes, energy cells, barriers, heat radiation, conductive inks, capacitors, and ultracapacitors. ADVANTAGE - The method produces graphene film with increased flexibility, electroconductivity, and corrosion resistance. DESCRIPTION OF DRAWING(S) - The drawing shows a schematic view of the deposition of a graphene film on the catalyst-coated support.
